Angels by Rosemary

"Angels by Rosemary" had its beginning over 12 years ago, starting out as a hobby when I retired in 1994. My inspiration was an angel pin that I purchased from my daughter's little antique shop. As I was admiring the angel, I got the idea of designing angel pins out of old pieces of jewelry.
While I enjoyed the thrill and satisfaction of creating beautiful angels out of discarded jewelry and selling them through local craft shows, I soon found out that most of my time was spent trying to find the treasures for recycle. So I created my first website starting out with only 12 angels that I could duplicate. It was not an overnight success, but after two long years and lots of work and help from others, it slowly took off. My angel pins have now have made their flight to every State in the United States and to several foreign countries.
While I enjoyed creating beautiful angels, my real passion and purpose was born the day a grieving mother and father came to my studio with the story of their beautiful young daughter who had died very recently. As I listened to their beautiful experiences, saw their tears and raw pain, and saw their reaction to the special angel pin I designed for them, I felt that little heart tug - my angel pins fulfilled a special need that day and would become the main thrust of Angels by Rosemary. A local news story about that beautiful young lady and her angel was picked up by Associated Press and was run as the top Texas news story that day. Many cities in Texas, large and small, carried the angel story and my angel business exploded. I am blessed indeed.
