Web Design & Craft Mall
QFLEA.com - The Virtual Flea Market

After working for someone else all the years, I decided I wanted to open a craft store to market my wood crafts that I was doing in a spare bedroom. So in 1990 I rented a building and hung everything on the wall. I live in a one horse town in Kansas so I decided to start selling craft supplies along with my own creations to supplement the earnings. I also put my woodcrafts online via a craft mall which was doing pretty good.
To make this long story short, after a few years in business, a high property tax, and people willing to drive 35 miles to save a penny at Wal Mart, I had to close my brick and mortar store down in 1997. I moved everything in my garage and started my own online woodcraft business.
While selling my crafts, I opened a craft mall (http://www.craftsgalore.net/ ) so that people could list their sites in their choice of categories. 5 categories for $10 per year (save $5) for anyone with a craft related site and who sees this blog at: http://www.craftsgalore.net/groups.html
I met this wonderful friend in Florida that wanted me to help her with her site. Then I met this friend in Texas via a craft group we were in and she wanted me to design her website. Loved it so much, I decided to start a web designing business and got the bug for web designing. Because I have acquired such a fantastic group of clients (http://www.web-designing.org ), I had to close down the wood craft site so I could take care of their sites. One thing led to another and I got so busy with the web designing business I decided to close down the woodcraft part of my life. I now design, host, and maintain web sites. I also register domain names and host sites that do their own designing.
