Nancy's Nuggets: The Birthday Present
One day a father got out of work and on his way home he suddenly remembered that it's his daughter's birthday. He pulled over to a toy shop and asked the salesperson, "How much for one of those Barbie's in the display window?"
The salesperson answered: Which one do you mean, Sir? We have Work Out Barbie for $19.95, Shopping Barbie for $19.95, Beach Barbie for $19.95, Disco Barbie for $19.95, Ballerina Barbie for $19.95, Astronaut Barbie for $19.95, Skater Barbie for $19.95, and Divorced Barbie for $265.95
The amazed father asked "You what? Why Is the Divorced Barbie $265.95 and the others only $19.95?"
The annoyed salesperson rolled her eyes, sighed, and answered, "Sir, Divorced Barbie comes with Ken's car, Ken's house, Ken's boat, Ken's furniture, Ken's computer ... and one of Ken's friends.

Weighty Issue
With the holidays coming, there's lots of extra food around. We all need to remember to be careful about putting on a few pounds. So here are a few questions to consider about your general eating habits.
Has your neighborhood grocery store ever offered to send you a limo?
After ordering lunch at a fast-food drive-through window, has it ever been delivered to your car on a hand truck?
Within the last month, have you burned out more than two refrigerator bulbs?
Does your street always seem to have more potholes than other streets?
Do people often decide to follow you up on the next elevator?
Has your fork ever suddenly come up missing?
Is there a restraining order against you from the Association of All-You-Can-Eat Restaurants?
On a recent Caribbean cruise, did the captain order you to stay in the center of the ship?
Do your country picnics involve renting a trailer?
Does the left side of your car bottom out a lot?
If you answered "yes" to six or more of the following questions, you may want to consider restricting your daily calorie intake. Just another little helpful hint from your friends at QFLEA.com - The Virtual Flea Market.

Vendor Spotlight on Cheryl Sandberg
When offered another type of dessert, Cheryl Sandberg, owner of An Occasional Chocolate often says, "If it ain't chocolate, it really ain't worth the calories!"
I was asked how I got started in this line of work. Easy answer three words: "You MADE that?" When I made a basket of flavored truffles and gave them to friends, they all said the same thing! They could hardly believe how incredible they tasted! When I told them how EASY truffle making is, they didn t believe me!
Cheryl also stated "I knew I could help people make these beautiful treats, and I could help them get as excited as I was! I can offer all the really hard-to-find ingredients AND teach others how to use them. I can help people hear those wonderful words, "You MADE that???""

Final Thought
"If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome." ... Josh Billings.
