Sunday Sermon A minister decided that a visual demonstration would add some emphasis to his Sunday sermon. Just before the sermon, he placed four worms into four separate jars. The first worm was put into a glass container filled with of alcohol. The second worm was put into a container of cigarette smoke. The third worm was put into a container of thick gooey chocolate syrup. The fourth worm was put into a container filled with good clean soil. At the conclusion of the sermon, the Minister reported the following results: The first worm that was placed into the jar with the alcohol was dead. The second worm in cigarette smoke was also dead, as was the third worm in chocolate syrup. However, the fourth worm, placed in the jar with the good clean soil was alive and well. So the Minister asked the congregation, "What can you learn from this demonstration?". Maxine was sitting quietly in the back, quickly raised her hand and responded, "As long as you drink, smoke and eat chocolate, you won't have worms!" That pretty much ended the service. In Cary, North Carolina, a woman gave birth to twins early in the morning of Nov. 4, 2007. The first twin was born at 1:32 a.m. The second twin was born thirty-four minutes later, at 1:06 a.m. - after Daylight-Saving Time ended, which is also twenty-six minutes earlier than the first twin.
