A Cat Story
A man who absolutely hated his wife's cat decided to get rid of him one day by driving him twenty blocks from his home and leaving him at the park.
As he was nearing home, there was the cat walking up the driveway.
The next day, he decided to drive the cat forty blocks away and try the same thing.
As he was driving back into his driveway, there was the cat! He kept taking the cat farther and farther away, but the cat would always beat him home.
At last, he decided to drive a few miles away, turn right, then left, past the bridge, then right again and another right and so on until he reached what he thought was a safe distance from his home and he left the cat there.
Hours later, the man calls home to his wife and asks: "Jen, is the cat there?". "Yes," the wife answers. "Why do you ask?"
Frustrated, the man answers: "Never mind. Just put that damn cat on the phone. I'm lost and I need directions!"
The Hotel Foyer
The big chess tournament was taking place at the Plaza in New York.
After the first day's competition, many of the winners were sitting around in the foyer of the hotel talking about their matches and bragging about their wonderful play.
After a few drinks they started getting louder and louder until finally, the desk clerk couldn't take any more and kicked them out.
The next morning the Manager called the clerk into his office and told him, "There had been many complaints about his being so rude to the hotel guests, instead of kicking them out, you should have just asked them to be less noisy."
The clerk responded, "I'm sorry, but if there's one thing I can't stand, it's chess nuts boasting in an open foyer."

Vendor Spotlight: Diane Morgan
The Birth of Morgan Mailboxes & More I took advantage of an early retirement package in 1998 from a high paying corporate job of twenty two years. I was bored to death, knew there was more to life and wanted to follow my dreams. I have always been creative and sold items at craft shops and craft shows for years.
One of the craft shops asked me to paint a mailbox, which I did. I hated painting on metal! Imagine my surprise when it sold that day. I painted another one and sold it right away too, and Morgan Mailboxes & More was born. My husband (computer graphic artist) built a web site and it began to take off.
In Sept. 2001 my husband was laid off due to his company down sizing. We spent a harrowing two years with the severe pay cut and many months with more bills than income. Little by little my husband started getting more involved in the business and we are now partners. Realizing that what we have was working he decided to expand our business by working with other small home-based businesses. He is now representing USA artists and selling their unique mailboxes at Morgan Home Accents. He expanded our line further to include other home and garden products and has become a prefered distributor for several manufacturers.
In the spring of 2006 I launched another site Classic Country Quilts. My first love has always been textile art (quilting, sewing, knitting, crocheting). I will be concentrating on quilting with theme, embellishment and country quilts.
We have become a true Mom and Pop home-based business and we are both blessed to be able to do what we love and make a success out of it. We share our home, business and time with the Morgan Zoo ... 1 Sheltie, 4 cats and 2 parrots.
