With Hallowe'en just two weeks away, here are a few things to consider to make it a safe and enjoyable "trick or treat" experience for you and your children.
Children should be accompanied by an adult and should wear clothing that can easily be seen at night. Retro- reflective materials are best. Be sure they trick or treat in one well-known area and not wander into unknown neighborhoods. Inspect your child's candy to make sure that no one has tampered with it. If it looks suspicious, the police should be contacted.
Children should avoid stray animals. If they were masks, they should not interfere with vision. Better yet, they can avoid masks by wearing makeup. Be sure they watch for moving vehicles when crossing streets.
Your child's costume should be short enough that the child will not trip. Trick or treaters should dress appropriately for the weather and carry a flashlight. For extra safety, organize a Hallowe'en party for children in your neighborhood.
Once upon a time, there were two brooms hanging in the closet. After a while they got to know each other so well, they decided to get married. One broom was, of course, the bride broom, the other the groom broom.
The bride broom looked very beautiful in her white dress. The groom broom was handsome and suave in his tuxedo. The wedding itself was lovely.
After the wedding, at the wedding dinner, the bride-broom leaned over and said to the groom-broom, "I think I am going to have a little whisk broom!!!" "Impossible!!" said the groom broom. "We haven't even swept together!"
