Our very own Jim Ammon reveals the process for a hand-tooled leather game board on HGTV's "That's Clever" which will begin airing on December 9. In a taping session that lasted several hours (for a segment that will probably be a few minutes) they filmed Jim playing his bagpipes for a short bit for the intro, then filmed him making a chess board.

Things To Do At The Mall While Holiday Shopping
Try pants on backwards at the Gap. Ask the salesperson if they make your butt look big.
Dial 900 numbers from demonstration phones in Radio Shack.
Teach pet store parrots new vocabulary that makes them unsellable.
Ask mall cops for stories of World War I.
Test mattresses in your pajamas.
If you're patient, stare intently into a surveillance camera for an hour while rocking from side to side.
Stare at static on a display TV and challenge other shoppers whether they, too, can see the "hidden picture".
Make unusual requests at the Piercing Pagoda.
Ask a salesperson in the hardware department how well a particular saw cuts through bone.
At the pet store, ask if they have bulk discounts on gerbils, and whether there's much meat on them.
Rummage through the jelly bean bin at the candy store, insisting that you lost a contact lens.
Leave on the plastic string connecting a new pair of shoes, and wander around the mall taking two-inch steps.
Ask the personnel at Pier 1 Imports whether they have "any giant crap made out of straw".
Ask the information desk for a stroller, and someone to push you around in it.
Show people your driver's license and demand to know "whether they've seen this man."
Like Father, Like Son
Junior had just received his brand new drivers license. To celebrate, the whole family trooped out to the driveway and climbed into the car for his inaugural drive. Dad immediately headed to the back seat, directly behind the newly minted driver. "I'll bet you're back there to get a change of scenery after all those months of sitting in the front passenger seat teaching me how to drive," said the beaming boy to his old man. "Nope," came dad's reply, "I'm gonna sit back here and kick the back of your seat while you drive, just like you have been doing to me for sixteen years."
